The Cinnamon challenge
I know as a part of my last blog I talked about how much I loved my friends and ejoy their friendships... well... not so sure how I feel after last night! Some of the boys showed up at my house to watch the dunk challenge... woo! I sure love spending my weekends watching basketball. They dared me to eat a spoonfull of cinnamon. They said this was "initiation" into the group. I was like no way at first. I wasnt really sure what would happen if I were to do that but I was pretty sure it probably wouldnt be good. They kept egging me on and showed me videos of Mitch doing it another night. He did it easily, as if there were no problem. So I said okay I would. Sawyer hadnt done it yet either so we decided to do it together. Went upstairs to do it in my kitchen. They measured the cinnamon and it wasnt on some regular spoon. no. It had to be the large ones! They got their little phones out and recorded this. Sawyer and I went at the same time. I just shoved it into my mouth and I swear cinnamon was coming out of my nose! It was HORRIBLE! I was fine until it came to the point where I had to start swallowing and then I gagged and spit it out. I had inhaled it when I fist put it in and was coughing up a lung! Sawyer threw his up too... I was caughing and blowing cinnamon out of my nose for quite some time. I even threw up like 20 min after the whole thing happened. (they boys still dont know this.... didnt want to look like a wimp!) Well I am pretty sure I started having an allergic reaction to this. after 45 min of throwing up, my mom looked up the symptoms and I had every one of them. My lips were swelling, Nausea, Runny nose, my eyes hurt... oh I just did not feel good! I took 2 benedril to get it to go down! of course the rest of the night I was not able to watch the dunk contest (bummer) because I couldnt even walk straight due to the benedril! I spent the rest of the night asleep on my couch while my friends did whatever they were doing! haha so moral of this story is.... 1. Even when you are dared to do something, its not always a good idea. 2. My body is not like the boys and cant handle a spoonful of cinnamon. 3. dont take 2 benedril!

The joys of being young
I have the best group of friends I could ask for. We all just have a brother sister relationship and I just love it. No matter what we are doing, going to breakfast at 12:30 a.m. or competing in a game of pictionary we are always having fun!
Now when we have a good game of pictionary going, it sure gets intense! You are not allowed to say anything to the person you are drawing to, don't even nod your head or you will be disqualified! Many of the times the game will end in an argument over who really won. (but we all know its always me:))
Sunday my group of friends decided we were going to go to breakfast at 12:30 that night. Because the next day was presidents day and we didn't have school and of course after midnight, it isn't the sabbath anymore :) All 9 of us show up at Denny's to eat breakfast and discuss the latest showing of the bachelor! (yes even the boys watch it) I'm not quite sure why we would want to go to breakfast so late, especially after curfews but I guess that is just the thrill that comes with the joys of being young and not having a care in the world!
As Much as I loved High School (sarcasm) I would never go back! Bryn got asked to prom by Jamison Walker. (Grants little brother) and with the help of me we came up with a brilliant idea of how to ask her. On our porch was a bag with hobo clothes and a cardboard sign that said "sweep me off me feet" along with a poem explaining what she is to do Bryn had to put these clothes on and stand at the corner of our street until someone drove by with a dollar bill that said who is asking her on it. She was a much better sport about it than I thought she would be! She stood on the corner of our street until a car pulled up gave her a dollar bill that said Jamisions name on it along with flowers. I was impressed! much better than the "fish in the sea" one everyone else uses. Although dances were fun, I could care less to be able to go to one again. I love this time of life that I am at right now. Free to do whatever I want and just watch my life fall into place. Careless, not a worry in the world and being spotaneous are my joys of being young!
| just in case you were wondering what is going on... mitchel is popping dallins back haha |

I just love this picture
| Of Course my sister would look hot, even dressed in hobo clothes! |
Although life gets tough and there are trials we go through, there are so many good things to be greatful for! Just the little things are what makes life enjoyable like friends and family. Live your life and do what you want because we are only so young before we have to grow up and have responsiblities (like jobs and bills...Wooo!). Be happy, Life is Good!

Project: Ecuador!
I have to admit I have been absolutely terrible at blogging! I actually forgot i even started a blog. I made a deal with my friend Megan Cooley that if she blogged once everyday that I would blog atleast once a week.
So lets start with the thing that has taken over my life as of right now, Ecuador!! I am going on a service trip in May for a month with a group called OSSO. I will be volunteering in an orphanage and cant wait to go! In order to go on this adventure I need to be able to raise atleast $3,000! I decided i wanted to do this about 3 weeks ago. Put in my application the next week and started fundrasing the week after that. It has all been happening so fast but I am so excited! Since valentines was coming up we decided to do something for that. I work at a bakery, so we decided to do cookie bouquets! We made one up, took pictures and put flyers around the neighborhood all in one night. I started getting calls and taking orders fast. With the help of my mom, aunt, cousin and sisters we started baking and decorated tons and tons of cookies. My wonderful boss let me use the bakery to bake in and the ingredients too! i am so greatful for that because it saved us a lot of money! We spent like 4 nights in a row staying up until midnight to get this cookies done. Between work and this fundraiser I am so sick of sugar cookies!! When it was all done and I counted the money I had made about $970! I was shocked! We were not expecting this much money at all. The long nights and tons of hours had finally paid off! I felt like I was at times square in New York and the ball had just dropped! I am amazed at how generous people are. Some of my neighbors took flyers to their work and I was able to get so many orders. In just 6 days I am that much closer to being able to go. I am SO blessed!
Trays and trays of sugar cookies!
Oour kitchen table was just covered in cookies and wrapped in saran wrap! This was only half, the others covered the rest of the counter tops.
